When we first heard about Angel’s Orphanage we were struck by two very powerful feelings.

Anne and Mike Fisher have organised and hosted several different fundraising events including 'Cream Tea in the Garden', a Wine Tasting and a Scarf tying demonstration.

The first was obvious. The plight of these children was dreadful and we were filled with pthe appalling conditions they lived in. Dirt, disease and hunger were faced everyday, yet without Angel they would be even worse off. To hear about these children from Rosa and Ian who actually saw this first hand, was very moving.
Secondly, hearing from Rosa and Ian about their plans to help and improve the lives of these children, we realised we could do something which would really make a difference too. We know a small contribution here in Highworth would make a huge difference to the childrens lives. So, we decided we’d do what we could to help. Rosa and Ian’s enthusiasm and energy is infectious and we support them all the way.

Whilst every charity is worthwhile supporting, how often do we know what difference we are making? We won’t change the world but we want to help to make the lives of those at Angel’s Orphanage the best we can.
